Rant : buying Amino Mason Sakura Edition (Moist formula)

 

This is a rant.

Do you know how difficult it is to buy this beautiful set of shampoo and treatment from Amino Mason?

Was priced RM104 from original price of RM280 🥲


 Yes, please put your eye ball back into the socket because it is officially out of stock, thank you. The Malaysia’s distributor themselves called me to inform this. How is it possible?


Because, I bought the last INTACT piece they have, with a big chunk from the dispenser broken. (Provided it they are not lying) 


As you know, I am late bloomers in the beauty journey, so I don’t know much about Amino Mason. It already in Malaysia market since 2018. I only discovered it during this gaga year, 2020 when Shopee give out RM15 voucher from SimpleBeaute (they are the Malaysia’s AM distributor). I bought sunscreen and Amino Mason Sakura trial set. 


As many has claimed, it does work INSTANTLY. After shampooing, I noticed my hair doesn’t clumped together as they always had. Then I put the treatment lotion to my hair for about 1 minute doing squat and when I’m done and ready to wash it, it leaves my hair non-fussily. No slippery business like other conditioner conditioned my bathroom floor. ANDDDD drying my thicc hair is not cramping my arm anymore. ≧◉◡◉≦

I heard that our hair and scalp type is like our skin. My skin type is normal to dry. The set that I tried is Moist which formulated to cater dry hair. IT DOES WORK ON MY HAIR. Another formula is SHINE and it’s suitable for oilier type skin and scalp.

Back to rant. So I immediately search on Guardian since Shopee seller SimpleBeaute did not have stock in their hand. I excitedly use the voucher for first time online purchase on Guardian with minimum spend of RM100. I don’t usually spend more than RM50 for a bottle of product so this is a very big deal. 

Priced wise!


Here is the chronology of events:

23/10/2020 : order and payment

26/10/2020: Guardian reply my email saying product is out of stock and i have to wait 1 week to receive product from supplier. 



30/10/2020 : Guardian emailed me saying they will refund.



5/11/2020 : I checked on the website and I can see the is still available. I emailed back to Guardian saying product is still viewable as available in their website. They didn’t reply.

Luckily refund is credited to my bank account not long afterwards. Only took 7 days if I’m not mistaken. Frustrating isn’t it? I even redeemed my first Guardian voucher! :( 

As I cherished the mini sets I have, I keep on hunting AM Sakura on Shopee. Right before 12.12 Shopee Sale,  SimpleBeaute once again restock and priced at normal price. Then miracle took part. Hahaa. They give 50% discount, not even 12.12 yet! I have to delay purchase since I was too busy and suddenly it’s sold out again. WHY. Then, 10/12/2020 it resurfaced in my shopee cart and I check out right away. Hah!

Yesterday, 16/12/2020 SimpleBeaute called me and informed me that stock is broken. The jar is made out of glass. So they want to refund. I want the shampoo so badly that I ask for product replacement. They then send me this picture asking if I will be okay with the broken cap. They also mentioned that sakura edition will stop production and NEW PRODUCT WILL BE LAUNCHED ON FEBRUARY 2021! (♡⸃ ◡ ⸂♡)

So I said OK while my heart is sad and happy at the same time. I want the pink jar be ideal hence I sad. I want the magic formula, hence I still happy. I bought them at 50% discount, claimed their voucher and redeemed my Shopee coins, hence I’m sooo happy. However I still think, WHY they don’t process right away after order paid before things got broken, before things got out of stock? Any uncovered truth? Hmm.. Well, I expect today courier service will attempt delivery to my house. Hopefully it does not break on the way. 

After payment done, usually Shopee algo will show more about the same products isn’t? Then I saw resellers. Made my blood boiled. Why don’t you use them on your hair and add the perfect pink pump-lid into collection? Why must you re-sell? Why must you made the Moist edition OOS?? Ughh..

That's it for now. I know many of my friend no longer visit & read my blog. So I feel safer to vent here. Hehe.. I’m not a fluent writer or speaker. Not even an avid reader. I only OK with listening. So I think writing here in my blogger account, where no one is reading is a filler in my boring-busy life. If anyone is reading my rant till end, kindly drop me emojis ya.
